I read the article 'Officials Reach California Deal to Cut Emissions' in the NY Times. This article talks about new emmission reduction measures being taken in california. Arnold Schwarzenegger has passed a new bill the would drastically reduce the amount of emmissions being released into the atmosphere. Over the next three years, companies will have to take measures to meet the requirements of this new bill.
I think that this article is very relative to our daily lives because it can start to effect the rest of the nation soon. We might have to start buying cars that have better exaust, or pay more for goods that come out of factories. This article can also be related to physics because of the gases involved. The potential energy that pollutants have can be very destructive to the atmosphere.
